How Much Does a Vehicle Wrap Cost in Marietta, GA?
The most common phone call we get at the shop starts with someone asking what it costs to wrap a van.
The honest answer is that "vehicle graphics" covers everything from a $300 lettering job on a pickup truck to an $8,000 full wrap on a box truck. The final number depends entirely on the type and size of your vehicle, the complexity of your design, and the quality of the materials.
Here are the real ballpark ranges we quote every week for commercial vehicles in the North Atlanta area.
Vehicle graphics types: Budget/Simple, Medium coverage, Partial wrap, and Full wrap shown on sample van and truck profiles.
    Pricing

The four tiers of vehicle graphics

We break vehicle wraps and graphics into four distinct categories.
    • Budget/Simple graphics This tier is about modest coverage. It could be pigmented, plotter-cut vinyl applied directly to your doors and tailgate, or it could be a digitally printed contour-cut logo that is simply smaller and uses less material. It gets your logo, phone number, and a short service line on the vehicle. It serves as the minimum graphics package required to establish a professional business presence on the road.
    • Medium coverage This tier adds more visual weight. You get larger logos, more extensive lettering, and potentially some extra graphic elements. These can be digitally printed or cut from pigmented vinyl depending on the design. It is still a modest package that won't feature the large graphic backgrounds of a partial or full wrap, but it carries more presence than basic lettering.
    • Partial wrap This is where the majority of our work lives. A partial wrap uses digitally printed, contour-cut vinyl panels across the high-visibility areas (bedsides, doors, and rear quarters) while typically leaving the hood and roof bare. It delivers nearly the same visual impact of a full wrap for significantly less.
    • Full wrap Complete edge-to-edge coverage, including the hood and roof. A standard work van typically runs $4,000 to $5,500. Large Sprinter vans and box trucks can push past $6,000.

    Partial wrap

What moves the number on a partial wrap

If you decide a partial wrap is the right fit, the exact price comes down to the size of your vehicle.
A small vehicle like a Ford Transit Connect or a compact pickup usually lands between $1,000 and $1,500. There simply isn't as much square footage to cover.
A full-size pickup truck like a Ford F-150 or Chevy Silverado typically runs $1,500 to $2,000 for an extensive design covering the doors, bedsides, and tailgate.
When you step up to a mid-size work van like a Ford Transit 250, you have much more vertical real estate. To make a real impact on a van that size, you should budget $1,500 to $2,500.
    Quality

The hidden costs of a cheap quote

If you get three quotes in Marietta and one comes back thirty percent lower than the others, you need to ask what material they are using.
"The ones who don't want to invest into quality signage rarely make it beyond the first couple years."
There are two main types of vinyl. Cast film is engineered for compound curves and long-term commercial use. Calendared film is a cheaper product meant for flat surfaces and short-term promotions.
A budget shop quoting a rock-bottom price is almost certainly using calendared vinyl. Within a year or two in the Georgia sun, that cheap vinyl will shrink. It will pull back from the edges of your doors, leaving a sticky adhesive line that catches road dirt and turns black. Trying to remove cheap vinyl from a vehicle is normally a significant challenge and can actually damage the painted surface if left on for too long.
Driving around with shrinking, peeling vinyl is worse than having no branding at all. It tells your customers that you cut corners. We use Avery Dennison cast film because it actually lasts, protecting your reputation and your investment.
    Line items

    Factoring in design and removal

There are two other line items that can affect your final invoice.
If you bring us a clean vector logo, your exact Pantone colors, and a solid idea of what you want, we typically do not charge for the initial design proof. If you show up with a blurry JPEG and no direction, we have to charge our $125 hourly design rate to develop your design concept from scratch.
If your van already has old graphics that need to come off, removal is billed hourly. Stripping a five-year-old wrap might take a few hours. Stripping an eight-year-old wrap where the adhesive has baked into the clearcoat will take much longer.
